Blue space aliens monitor our every move

Our May 6th meeting in the Cottonwood Room was joined by Mr. Willem Dobler, and his designated driver/stepdad Nate Mersich. Steve met Willem out at the Bunkhouse Jam and invited him to our join our bunch of geetards. Welcome fellas! It takes quite a bit of courage to play in front of strangers. Pretty soon Willem will be old enough to drive himself, then we’ll see if he comes back on his own. Meanwhile, Nate, keep draggin’ that boy to join us!

See the capo on Willem’s guitar? That put poor Nate at a serious disadvantage for playing along…

Also welcome to Maria Means, always a welcomed addition. The longer Ken spends with Maria, the better his song titles become.

Unfortunately, Nancy was our only photographer this month. Nothing to do with the quality of pictures! Just that no one captured an image of her in her bicycle helmet while she sang Melanie’s ‘Brand New Key’. She brings many hats to her gigs, but this one cracks me up. She also led the group in ‘Buffalo Gals’, a modern ditty from 1844.
