5 May 2026 meeting

Chillin’ on the bench

On Cinco Today-O, I think we had our biggest snowfall of the year (so far) About a dozen souls braved the weather and shared some tunes. Ken honored the occasion with one of his originals, ‘Watching the Snow Melt’.

Pretty sure with a flick of her wrist, she could give the old man a ‘correction’.

Olivia has been here before as our guest, but this time brought her fiddle along. Fearless and quite proficient, she’s already got some chops on her 3/4 sized instrument. Come back any time, we love to hear you play! Bring Dad, too.

It’s all in the hat.

Nancy brought a banjo for the first time. Rumor has it she just had one, but after the rear window broke out of her Subaru, she now has a half dozen banjos to chose from. She needs to get that rear window replaced before she needs a bigger place.

Thanks to Nancy and Rich for this month’s photos. These newsletters would suck rocks without them.
